NORSmaterials builds for extreme conditions. For decades their materials have delivered resilience to heavy industry. The company was called Strukturplast, structural plastic, a category they have since outgrown.
To reach a global market, the identity had to match the material. A strategic and visual rebrand translated material science into a clear, minimal system. Bold, functional, built to endure.
Logo
The mark takes its geometry from Norse knotwork and its endlessness from Midgardsormen. Protection from one, endurance from the other.
Letterforms shaped by the tools that shape the parts.
Typeface
The typeface draws from NORSmaterials’ casting moulds. Radiused where a mould softens an edge, flat where it cuts clean.
The identity moves the way the material does. It deforms under load, then returns to its shape.
Icons
The icons are made to survive everywhere NORSmaterials is deployed. Radiused corners and flat terminals, built on the same geometry as the letterforms.
Decades of materials, engineering and services structured into one system.
The website carries three material families, four services and five industries on one layout framework.
